Project duration:
March to April 2022
My role:
UX designer / UX researcher
The problem:
The previous website had very bad UX, wasn't responsive and the checkout process was very slow.
The goal:
They need an attractive and responsive website with good UX, easy navigation, and a streamlined checkout process.
Responsibilities:
I conduct interviews and use paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, and usability studies to iterate on designs. Additionally, I account for accessibility throughout the design process.
USER RESEARCH
Summary: I conducted several interviews with visitors of Mass Theater and created empathy maps to understand their needs. One of the primary user groups was composed of customers who order out at least once a week and are aged between 21 and 60. The main objective was to evaluate if users could complete core tasks on the responsive website prototype of Mass Theater. Additionally, I assessed the ease of use of the mobile app, which was crucial to determine.
Problem Statement
Dennis is an art student and a huge movie fan who needs quick orders and navigation. He would also like some promotions or member discounts.
SItemap
I have created the sitemap as simply as it was possible. Easy navigation and checkout are very important and crucial for this project.
